Supplementary Planning Guidance January 2001

This guidance was published in 2001 to provide specific design advice for new and replacement shopfronts in the Districts town's and villages, many of which have historic centres. Contextual information on local centres is provided in the document, as well as guidance on design of fascias, signs, doors, access, external security fittings, and lighting. Examples of good designs in approved schemes are also set out.
