Following the village meeting in May, a Steering Group has been formed to produce a plan for our community.
This plan will look at all aspects of local life and the challenge will be to ensure thorough consultation takes place with all sections of our community.The Steering Group want to produce a plan that shows how we would like our village to be in the future, identify what the obstacles are to getting there and develop an action plan to achieve that vision.
One of the first important jobs for the Group will be to ensure they collect the views, likes/hates and needs of everyone. Listening to your views and making sure you know what is going on is vitally important.So look out for the bright yellow leaflets that will be coming through your door soon!
There will be a regular update of progress with the plan on these pages. A dedicated email address: Damerhamplanning@aol.com can be used to give your views. There will also be special notice boards and post boxes around the village to collect your thoughts together with a stand at the Damerham Fair on Saturday 29th July.
