The Damerham Domesday Book 2000 was produced as part of the Village's Millennium Celebrations.  The original is displayed and can be inspected in the foyer of the Damerham Village Hall.

The Parish Council does not intend to republish the Book - it was a snapshot in time and much of the content is out of date.  However since there have been several requests form residents to have a copy, downloadable parts of the document are presented on this web site.  All files are in Acrobat Reader pdf format which can be read and if wanted printed out.  Be warned that the complete document is 202 pages (some 26MBytes) and each page is formatted for A3 landscape.  Acrobat Reader will automatically shrink the pages to fit A4 paper when printing.

The book contains details of the majority of Households at the turn of the Millennium, who lived there with photographs (roughly half of the whole).  There are sections on Village Institutions, Memories & History and much of Damerham's recent history.
